Carolyn Paulette Creecy Scrape

Mrs. Carolyn Paulette Creecy Scrape, of Trumann died Friday morning August 9, 2013 at the family residence, at the age of 61 years 8 months and 10 days. Mrs. Scrape was born Friday, November 30, 1951 in Osceola, Ark., to the late Willie James and Ellen Lorene Nichols Creecy. She lived in Trumann for the past 54 years, was a housewife, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and of the Full Gospel Tabernacle. Mrs. Scrape was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Householder and her parents. She is survived by her husband of 44 years James Michael Scrape of the home; two daughters, Tammy and husband Allan Garner of Jonesboro and Amanda and husband Don Worden of Trumann; two sisters, Barbara Green and Shirley Barnett both of Trumann; two brothers, Billy Creecy and Jimmy Creecy both of Trumann. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Murry Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Oliver Hinds, Dewayne Green, Eddy LaPiro, David LaPiro, Jason Thomas and Jimmy Creecy Jr. Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
