Robert L. Highfill
December 19, 1981 - April 22, 2018

Mr. Robert L. Highfill of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 36 years, 4 months and 3 days. He was born Saturday, December 19, 1981 in Jonesboro, Ark., and lived most of his life in Trumann. He was a truck driver and a member of NEA Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Melba Elliott, Freeman and Robbie Highfill, and uncle Mark Highfill.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Crystal Marshall Highfill of the home; two daughters, Kiley and Emily Highfill of the home; one son, Zakary Highfill of the home; his mother, Nancy Highfill Elliott of Trumann, Ark.; father Tim Elliott of Forrest City, Ark.; one sister, Jessica Meilke of Jonesboro, Ark; five brothers, Mitchell Elliott, Eric Elliott, Jeremy Elliott, all of Jonesboro, Ark., Timmy Ray Elliott of Mississippi, and Larry Haynes of Ash Flat, Ark.; one aunt Becky Wren of Trumann; and one uncle Freeman Highfill of Trumann.

Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. John Dillinger and Rev. Jonathan Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick, Ark., with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Coty Penter, Durrell Newell, Bone Franks, Shawn Bell, Michael Loggins, and Greg Meilke. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Trucking, Matthews Trucking, Maxwell Reeves aka daddy, Allen Willbanks, Jeffrey Marshall, Ronnie Davis and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1301 Hwy 69 W in Trumann.

    I have always Loved the way you joked around with Crystal by telling her you were going to Elbow her in the throat , or Throat punch her .. You Loved her and those beautiful babies with your whole being !! You know That Durrell and I loved you and your entire family ... I thought when those Golden Gates opened and Aunt Norma stood there I could hear you say Sister Norma I made it ..... All of us at Church will be always there for Crystal and those babies so as they say at this time your Job is done we'll continue from hear ( See You when we all get Heaven )..............
