Mr. Wade Shoopman
December 10, 1937 - August 26, 2010

TRUMANN- Mr. Carlois Wade Shoopman 72, of Trumann, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Shoopman was born in Lake City and had lived his lifetime in Trumann. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, retired factory worker and attended the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann. Mr. Shoopman was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Bonnie Johnson Shoopman Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mrs. Junnie Shoopman of the home; three sons, Freddy and wife Darlene McKinney of Trumann, Terry Hill of Trumann and Robert and wife Debbie Hill of Jefferson, GA; four daughters, Clara and husband Leroy Richards of Trumann, Sarah and husband Greg Curtis of Van Buren, Barbara and husband Johnny Hatcher of Jefferson, GA., and Jennie Everett of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Dale and wife Martha Shoopman of Waterford, MI; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Dale Shoopman, Hubert Raney, Doty Reed, Daniel Rieathbaum, Jim Collins, and Ralph Kain. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Pagan, Jerry Banks, and Clarence Williams. Funeral service will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral in Trumann, Ark. with Revs. Ricky Forbis and Boyd Hosman officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home.
