Mrs. Jane Huss Vaughn was born on Friday, October 29, 1937 daughter of the late Jessie and Aileen Sims Holt. She died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the family residence, at the age of 72 years 9 months and 20 days. She was born in Craighead County, had lived in Trumann the past four years, and was formerly of Mantachee, MS. Mrs. Vaughn was a Housewife and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelia Huss Bailey, two brothers, and her parents, Jessie and Aileen Sims Holt. Survivors include her husband, Earl

    Dear Bud, 8-26-10We just heard about Jane. I'm SO sorry to hear it. When I spoke with her a few minutes the end of July I knew she was very weak.I had talked to R.L. the end of June; he shared what the doctor had told you. Please accept our deepest sympathies Bud. I printed her obituary from the internet. We thought an awful lot of both of you even though we didn't get to be around you often. We'll always remember the great time we had at the community center that July 4th in Mississippi. Before we came to AZ in April, 2007, we'd visited my brother in Walnut Ridge in March. Came by your home but no one was there. Sure hate that we missed you. She was a sweet lady and we thought the world of her.
