AUNT MORNAY will always hold a special place in my heart. When I would go spend a week with grandma and grandpa during the summer she would come and get me to spend the night with Shelia for one night too. I would always be listening for the four o'clock whistle to blow at the Singer plant because I knew she would be coming to pick me up. We we got home she would cook a great supper then me and Shelia would be off doing our thing. Tony I remeMber one time we played like you were our baby and we would dress you up. I know when she took that last breath and smiled she saw something good, something very good.God is good. See you again someday Aunt Mornay!!love Vicki

Dottie, I was so sad to hear about your momma. Our paths in life would not have crossed had our momma's not been in the same nursing home. We had happy and sad times out there; whether it be visiting in each others rooms or out in the dining hall and then of course, there was Elvis. We would laugh so hard we would cry and then we would cry so hard sometimes we would smile. It sounds weird, but I remember on a particular day when your momma wasn't doing very well....and you were sitting in her room crying and I was standing there crying for you and for her and then we looked into each others eyes and we smiled.....because we knew what our mommas mean to us. I know she held a special place in your heart and I know that there has to be an emptiness there. I will be praying and thinking of you and lifting you up to God asking that He sends comfort to you during the days ahead. I don't mean to keep on, but you and your momma reminded me of Carol Burnett and Vicki Lawrence when they'd do Mama's Family skits together......cause you'd tell me and my mom a story about ya'lls lives then you'd look at your mom and say, "isn't that right, momma?".....Your momma is reliving all those stories with all those people now. I am so glad to have known you and your mom. God Bless.

My mom just told me that Mrs. Busby died. I am so so sad for her family. I am sad for her too but I know that she has gone to a life where she doesn't hurt or is sick any more. My Nanna will be joining her soon I figure. I am sorry for Mrs. Busbys family and I am sorry that we won't have more times together. I was raised to tell people when you don't really know what to tell them when something like this happens jjust to tell them you're sorry....but, she was sick, she was old, she was in pain. I am still sorry. I will pray for you. Dottie please be strong. I love you and I love Mrs. Busby too.
