Tommy Jack Shuburte
August 11, 1944 - December 17, 2009

Mr. Tommy Jack Shuburte, 65, of Trumann, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Mr. Shuburte was born in Savannah, Tenn., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a retired laborer and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Shuburte was preceded in death by his father, John Shuburte, one daughter Samantha Shuburte, one sister, Jean Woodard. Survivors include his mother, Edith Shuburte of Trumann; three daughters, Angela Shuburte of Benton, Ark., Tabatha Shuburte of KY, and Jamie Shuburte of FL; four sons, Ronnie and Johnnie Shuburte both of GA, Jeremy and John Shuburte both of FL; three sisters, Johnnie Armstrong of Trumann, Betsy Vinson of Jonesboro and Patricia Sutton of Greenwood; seven brothers, Bobby Shuburte of Marked Tree, David Shuburte of Hattiesville, Ark., Kenny Shuburte, Buddy Shuburte, Danny Shuburte and Jim Shuburte all of Trumann and Ricky Shuburte of Memphis, Tenn., 7 grandchildren, and several nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Chad O

    I offer my condolences to the family of Tom. My first cousin. He was my dads (Ross Ward) sisters son. I knew Tommy Jack on many visits to Aunt Sis house growing up and at our grandparents home, Cecil and Mae Ward around Marked Tree. Rest in Peace Tommy.
