Letha Raye Owens of Trumann departed this life Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 93 years, 5 months, and 2 days. She was born March 18, 1933, in Trumann to the late Clay and Isophene Huffman Owens. She was retired from the United States Air Force having served for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Trumann. She loved to travel and listening to music. She was the chairman of the Board of the Trumann Area Fine Arts Council. She and her longtime friend, the late Barbara Lewallen, were co-owners of Design Realty. She always said her cats, Jackie and Grace ruled the house and allowed Letha to live there. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Norma Lee Owens and Ramona Owens Harris and brother, Darrell Owens. She is survived by special cousin, Kenneth Daniels of Starkville, MS and several nieces and nephews and her cats. The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 27th at Thompson Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 with Dr. John Maley officiating.
