Jesse T. “Jay” Williams of Trumann departed this life Monday, September 21, 2026 at Quail Run in Trumann, AR at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 27 days. He was born Sunday, December 25, 1938 to the late Bart and Dora Fry Williams and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. Jesse loved being outside and tinkering with anything with a motor. He was a member of Melton Ave Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Williams; one son, Steve Williams, one sister, Lillie Blake and his parents. He is survived by two sons, Scot Williams of Trumann and David (Debbie) Williams of Marion, AR; one daughter, Tammy Huskey of Trumann; one brother, Aaron “Son” Williams of Cabool, MO; two sisters, Anita (Asa) Boatman of Caraway and Mattie Anderson of Caraway; six grandchildren, Nichole (Chase) Smith, Joey Williams, Josh Williams, John (Julian) Huskey, Cara Williams and Cheyenne Williams; and eleven great-grandchildren, Brianna, Caidyn, Reagan, Aubreigh, Max, Addyson, Evelyn, Jayden, Drake, Mila, and Creed. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Matt Flad officiating Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.
